Also, be sure to check out my (manga) Music Video Broken! I think it goes along great with this story, and I actually made it when I was in the middle of writing Chapter 6...so there's the inspiration!

And yes,this story was inspired by The Little Mermaid. (As if the similarities weren't obvious enough, lol). But since it's very minimal, I didn't bother mentioning it in the authors notes--I'm sure most of you recognized the reference to it in Chapter 2, anyway. Or from the title, haha.

But aside from the time limit and the bargain, the similarity between the two, ends. ;)
